We See You: Celebrating Women Who Served

For three years, Kate Treick Photography and Honor HER Foundation co-sponsored We See You, an exhibit to recognize and celebrate the stories of local women who have served in the armed forces. Kate has created portraits of 210 women veterans reflecting how each one sees herself today.

Every woman participating in this project has a different story. Some had an empowering experience in the military—others have experienced a lack of recognition for their service, or have even felt invisible. No matter their story, we are here to say that we see you, and we thank you.
