We See You: Celebrating Women Who Served

For the past two years, Kate Treick Photographing and Honor HER Foundation have sponsored We See You, an exhibit to recognize and celebrate the stories of local women who have served in the armed forces. Kate has created portraits of nearly 150 women veterans reflecting how each one sees herself today.

Every woman participating in this project has a different story. Some had an empowering experience in the military—others have experienced a lack of recognition for their service, or have even felt invisible. No matter their story, we are here to say that we see you, and we thank you.

116 women participated in our 2020 We See You Exhibit, and we added 34 more veteran portraits to the collection in 2021.

This year’s interest level is higher than ever, and we expect to DOUBLE our exhibit this year.
